The Thames Indiaman. Ashore, (a short distance East of the Ridout, and near the Martello Tower No. 72) in Eastbourne Bay, Sunday Feby. 3d. 1822. The Largest Vessel wrecked on this Coast since the La Nymphe Spanish Ship, in 1747. Length of Keel 175 feet, Width on Beam 40 feet, Burden 1350 Tons pr. Register.
